Call for Proposals is open for next year's annual NERCOMP conference, March 11-13, 2013 in Providence, Rhode Island.
Deadline for submitting proposals: Oct 17, 2912
NERCOMP 2012 will focus on “Improvising the Future.” In a time of perpetual change and when long range planning is difficult, we often cannot perform according to a set script or score; indeed, we find we must be agile and innovative enough to create new systems and processes to meet the expectations of our communities. We need to be able to improvise, collaborate with colleagues, and build on existing frameworks to arrive at creative solutions for the future.
Preconference seminars will be held in Providence Monday, March 11, with the full face-to-face and online conference programs March 12-13. The program sessions will focus on these key topic areas:
Attending the NERCOMP Annual Conference is an opportunity to connect with innovators and forward thinkers, learn about current and emerging best practices, and explore ways to tackle common challenges. This valuable professional experience directly benefits you and your institution through an infusion of fresh energy and ideas along with validation of current practices. EDUCAUSE provides you with multiple opportunities to attend the conference--onsite or online. Onsite offers an environment removed from the day-to-day pressures of campus, or attend online with your campus colleagues to stretch your professional development dollars and extend opportunities for collaboration.
Presenting is also participation when you lead a session or contribute as part of a panel whether onsite or online. We learn from each other by sharing experiences, ideas, and information. Submit a proposal to share what you have learned.
