On April 29th the Office of Educational Innovation and Technology (OEIT) welcomed John Craig Freeman and Tamiko Thiel, two virtual artists, to MIT to talk about their installations and examine the educational impacts of their work. Working parallel with the Boston CyberArts festival, this event focused on three-dimensional interactive environments and the unique ways these platforms present educational content. Expanding Boundaries was the most recent presentation in a series of events geared towards educating the MIT community on the benefits of virtual worlds.
