MIT has launched a new research center. Supported by a grant from Google, The MIT Center for Mobile Learning will be "dedicated to transforming education and learning through innovation in mobile computing."
Of related interested is Google's recent purchase of Motorola Mobility. The aquisition will enable Google to "supercharge the Android ecosystem". The Android code base, however, will still remain open to independent developers.
