This teaching space provides a publicly available, teachable and reservable computer cluster with 24 student dual-boot workstations (Windows 7 and OSX) running in the win.mit.edu domain.
Currently this space is optimized for collaborative learning pedagogies with workstations in 5 groups of 4-5 computers clustered around team whiteboards.
An MIT Athena account is required to log into these workstations.
This cluster is scheduled through the registrars office classroom reservation page.

24 Student Workstations + 1 Instructors Workstation
27" iMacs - Dual Boot (OSX10.6.8 and Windows 7)
3.4 GHz quad-core i7's with 12 GB Ram
There is (1) 1920x1080 Projector mounted in the classroom.
