1.3.8 Dome Dunes

Dome Dunes are circular in plan with no distinctive slipfaces. They may be a result of modification of barchan dunes by strong winds. Moisture and vegetation help stabilize the dunes. The laminae of dome dunes are characterized by flat topsets which grade into foresets that dip in every direction.
