7.2.14 Recumbent Fold

In a recumbent fold, the axial plane or surface is essentially horizontal. One limb has therefore been rotated into a completely upside down sequence. In recumbent anticlines, the lower limbs are completely overturned; in recumbent synclines, the upper limbs are completely overturned.
