Introduction: 

This teaching space provides a publicly available, teachable and reservable computer cluster with 24 student dual-boot workstations (Windows 7 and OSX) running in the win.mit.edu domain.  

This space can be used for collaborative learning pedagogies with workstations in 8 groups of 3 computers clustered around team whiteboards.

An MIT Athena account is required to log into these workstations.

Schedule: 

This cluster is scheduled through OEIT.

Hardware:

24 Student Workstations + 1 Instructors Workstation

 27" iMacs - Dual Boot (OSX10.8.5 and Windows 7)

 3.4 GHz quad-core i7's with 12 GB Ram

There is 1920x1080 Projector mounted in the classroom and a document camera located at the lectern.
