I had a great time at camp!

THATCampNE turned the traditional conference format on its head: instead of the expected pre-arranged program, sessions were determined on the fly. Attendees voted for sessions of interest, so that the topics covered were of most relevance to the greatest number of people.

Call for Proposals: the Boston College MediaKron Project

Several years ago, Boston College developed a software application called MediaKron. MediaKron allows faculty to create and deliver media-rich content in creative ways. The original product development was funded through a Davis Educational Foundation grant and has yielded some interesting projects at Boston College.

THATCamp New England offers fellowships

The second annual THATCamp New England will be held at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, on Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22. THATCamp ("The Humanities and Technology Camp") is a conference to discuss how technology is influencing teaching, research, and service at universities and colleges. THATCamp New England 2011 is being hosted by Brandeis University with the generous support and sponsorship of NERCOMP.
